Postman+ extension privacy policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
The zort.ing Postman+ browser extension lets Postman+ send HTTP requests to local and internal network addresses from your own computer. This page explains what it does with your data.
Data we collect
None. The extension does not collect, store, sell or share any personal data, browsing history or usage statistics, and it contains no analytics or tracking.
How requests are handled
- The extension only acts on requests you send yourself from Postman+ on zort.ing.
- It only sends them to local and internal addresses, such as
localhost,10.x,172.16.x–172.31.x,192.168.xand.localnames. - Each request goes straight from your computer to the address you entered. Its response comes back to the Postman+ page in your browser. Neither passes through zort.ing's servers or any other third party.
- The extension sends no cookies of its own and keeps no copy of requests or responses.
Permissions
The extension asks for access to all addresses because the servers you call can be any local or internal address, which cannot be listed in advance. It uses that access only as described above, and it never reads or changes the websites you visit.
Postman+ itself
Flows, requests and responses you create in Postman+ are stored only in your browser. Requests to public addresses are sent through the zort.ing server, which forwards them and does not store them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
